What to check
- Compare the temperature currently measured via the Terminal Module's temperature sensing (r4105[0]) with the alarm threshold p4102[0].
- Allow the temperature sensor to cool down to below p4102[0] minus the hysteresis — the hysteresis is 5 K, and on a TM150 it can be set using p4118[0].
- If the sensor is a PTC thermistor or a bimetallic NC contact (p4100[0] = 1, 4), read the sensor resistance in r4101[0]: a resistance above 1650 ohms corresponds to 250 °C, one of 1650 ohms or less to -50 °C.
Reading the message value
- Alarm value (r2124, interpret decimal): the temperature actual value at the time the alarm was initiated, in 0.1 °C.
- For sensor type "PTC thermistor" and "Bimetallic NC contact" (p4100[0] = 1, 4):
- r4101[0] > 1650 ohms: r4105[0] = 250 °C
- r4101[0] <= 1650 ohms: r4105[0] = -50 °C

If the drive is configured to output the condition as a fault (F) instead, the manual specifies acknowledgement IMMEDIATELY (POWER ON).
