- 5: the maximum number of revolutions of the encoder was exceeded.
- 6 and 7: the encoder is in an invalid state.
- 8: the encoder is in an invalid state — the encoder is not parameterized or the interconnected signal source is not in the cyclic state.

Acknowledging and restarting
No acknowledgment is necessary and the drive triggers no reaction to this alarm. One limit applies: if the synchronization was interrupted because the maximum permissible synchronization duration was exceeded, the drive does not carry out a new synchronization.
