A07569 — Enc identification active

A07569 (Enc identification active) reports that encoder identification is running and the drive is waiting for its result: with p0400 = 10100 the drive tries to identify the connected encoder automatically, and the encoder still has not been identified. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be raised as fault F07569 instead of the alarm.

Automatic identification only works if the encoder itself supports it: on encoders with an EnDat interface, on encoders with an SSI interface, or on a motor with DRIVE-CLiQ.

• The drive is waiting for the result of encoder identification started with p0400 = 10100, and the encoder still has not been identified.
• The wrong encoder is installed, or no encoder is installed.
• The wrong encoder cable is connected, or no encoder cable is connected to the Sensor Module.
• The DRIVE-CLiQ component is not connected.

1. Check the encoder and the encoder cable, and connect them if necessary.
2. Check the DRIVE-CLiQ connection and establish it if necessary.
3. For SSI encoders, carry out the operator actions that the Function Manual requires for identification.
4. If the connected encoder cannot be identified at all — for example an encoder without an EnDat interface — do not rely on automatic identification and enter the correct encoder type in p0400.

• p0400 (encoder type selection): identification runs with the value 10100; if the connected encoder cannot be identified automatically, enter its correct type here instead of 10100.

As an alarm, A07569 requires no acknowledgment — it accompanies the waiting phase of encoder identification and clears once the encoder has been identified or the correct encoder type has been entered in p0400. If the drive's configuration issues the condition as fault F07569, no automatic stop is triggered; remedy the cause and then acknowledge immediately. Identification itself runs while p0400 = 10100.
