A07495 — LR: Reference function interrupted

A07495 (LR: Reference function interrupted) reports that an activated reference function — the reference mark search or the measuring probe evaluation — was interrupted. The manuals that describe this code give identical causes and the same remedy for it. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be issued as a fault (F) or with no reaction (N). The manual gives no message value for this alarm, so the code itself does not indicate which of the causes applies.

• An encoder fault has occurred.
• The position actual value was set while a reference function was active.
• The reference mark search and the measuring probe evaluation were activated at the same time (BI: p2508 and BI: p2509 = 1 signal).
• An activated reference function (reference mark search or measuring probe evaluation) was deactivated (BI: p2508 and BI: p2509 = 0 signal).
• The input terminal for the measuring probe is not set.

1. Go through the possible causes listed above and resolve the one that applies.
2. Reset the control (BI: p2508 and BI: p2509 = 0 signal) and then activate the requested function again.
3. If the measuring probe is involved, set its input terminal (p0488, p0489 or p2517, p2518).

• p2508 (BI: LR activate reference mark search / Ref_mark act) — the command input that starts the reference mark search; it must not be 1 while p2509 is also 1, and both inputs are set to 0 signal to reset the control.
• p2509 (BI: LR activate measuring probe evaluation / MT_eval act) — the command input that starts the measuring probe evaluation; like p2508 it is set to 0 signal to reset the control and must not be 1 at the same time as the reference mark search.
• p0488 (Measuring probe 1 input terminal / Meas probe 1 inp) — sets the input terminal for measuring probe 1; the remedy names it when the probe input has not been set.
• p0489 (Measuring probe 2 input terminal / Meas probe 2 inp) — sets the input terminal for measuring probe 2, likewise named in the remedy.
• p2517 (LR direct measuring probe 1 / Direct MT 1) — direct input for measuring probe 1, the alternative to p0488 given in the remedy for setting the probe input.
• p2518 (LR direct measuring probe 2 / Direct MT 2) — direct input for measuring probe 2, the alternative to p0489.

As an alarm, A07495 requires no acknowledgement. Work through the remedy: resolve the cause, reset the control with BI: p2508 and BI: p2509 = 0 signal, and activate the requested function again. If the drive is configured to issue the condition as a fault (F), it reacts with OFF1 (OFF2, OFF3 as alternatives) and the message must be acknowledged IMMEDIATELY; in the N variant there is neither a reaction nor an acknowledgement.
