A07477 — EPOS: Target position < software limit switch minus

A07477 is an EPOS message for a target position that lies below the software limit switch minus. The drive detects this during the actual traversing operation: the target position of the traversing job is less than the software limit switch minus. The message value carries no additional information, and depending on the drive configuration the same condition can also be issued as a fault (F07477).

• In the actual traversing operation, the target position of the traversing job is less than the software limit switch minus, so the commanded position lies outside the range that the minus limit switch permits.

1. Correct the target position of the traversing job so that it is no longer less than the software limit switch minus.
2. Alternatively, change the software limit switch minus; the remedy names the signal source p2578 and the value p2580 for this.

• p2578 (CI: EPOS software limit switch minus signal source) — use it to change the software limit switch minus: this parameter selects the signal source that supplies the minus limit switch.

If the drive is configured to issue the same condition as a fault (F07477), the drive stops with OFF1 (OFF2, OFF3) and the fault must be acknowledged immediately before the drive can be restarted.
