F37899 — HF Damping Module: Unknown fault — means that the HF Damping Module has reported a fault which the Control Unit firmware cannot interpret. The manual explains that this happens when the firmware on the HF Damping Module is more recent than the firmware on the Control Unit, so the Control Unit receives a fault number it simply does not know. The drive normally raises this condition as a fault, but depending on its configuration the same event can also be output as an alarm or as a message without a reaction — the manual lists it with the message classes N and A as well.
