F07390 — Drive: DC link capacitor forming fault

F07390 reports that the “DC link capacitor forming” function was canceled with a fault: bit 3 of the forming status word r3382 is set (r3382.3 = 1), and the expected DC link voltage was out of tolerance. The drive coasts down (OFF2) and the fault must be acknowledged immediately before it can be started again.

1. Check the drive device itself — supply voltage, terminals and the further points the manual’s checklist names.
2. Set the activation and duration of the forming function again so that p3380 > 0.
3. Restart the forming function with a 0/1 signal at p0840 (ON).

• r3382 (Forming status word / Forming ZSW): read it after the trip — bit 3 = 1 tells you that the forming function was canceled with a fault.
• p3380 (Forming activation/duration / Form act/duration): set the activation/duration again once the cause is removed; the value must be greater than 0 for forming to run.
• p0840 (BI: ON / OFF (OFF1)): the drive’s ON command — switch it from 0 to 1 to restart the forming function.

Acknowledge the fault immediately after the cause has been removed. Then set the forming activation/duration again (p3380 > 0) and restart the forming function with a 0/1 signal at p0840 (ON).
