A31460 — Encoder 1: Analog sensor channel A failed

Alarm A31460 reports that the input voltage of channel A of the analog sensor evaluated as Encoder 1 is outside the permissible limits. The drive stores an alarm value in r2124, which is to be interpreted as a decimal number; it identifies which of the three limit conditions was violated. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be signaled with no reaction (N).

• The input voltage of the analog sensor of Encoder 1 is outside the permissible limits. Which of the three limit conditions applies — the detectable measuring range, the measuring range set in p4673, or the range limit in p4676 — is shown by the alarm value in r2124.

1. Read the alarm value from r2124 as a decimal number to determine which limit condition triggered the alarm.
2. If the alarm value is 1, check the output voltage of the analog sensor.
3. If the alarm value is 2, check the voltage setting for each encoder period (p4673).
4. If the alarm value is 3, check the range limit setting and increase it if necessary (p4676).

• p4673 — the set voltage per encoder period for analog sensor channel A; check this setting when the alarm value is 2.
• p4676 — the range limit threshold of the analog sensor; check it, and increase it if necessary, when the alarm value is 3.

No acknowledgement is required for this alarm, and the drive takes no automatic action when the condition is detected. The corrective work follows the alarm value in r2124: check the output voltage of the analog sensor, or correct the settings in p4673 and p4676, as described in the checks above.
