A13000 — License not adequate

A13000 (License not adequate) is raised by the Control Unit (CU) of a SINAMICS G130 or G150 when options that require a license are being used for the drive unit without sufficient licenses, or when an error occurs while the existing licenses are being checked. The alarm does not trip the drive; the alarm value in r2124 shows which licensing situation applies, and each value has its own remedy.

• Options that require a license are being used for the drive unit, but the licenses are not sufficient.
• An error occurred when checking the existing licenses.

1. Read the alarm value in r2124 and interpret it as a decimal number to determine which licensing situation applies.
2. Alarm value 0: additional licenses are required; activate them with p9920 (enter the license key) and p9921 (activate the license key).
3. Alarm value 1: with the system powered down, re-insert the memory card that matches the system.
4. Alarm value 2: enter and activate the license key (p9920, p9921).
5. Alarm value 3: compare the license key entered in p9920 with the license key on the certificate of license, then re-enter the license key and activate it (p9920, p9921).
6. Alarm value 4: carry out a POWER ON; upgrade the firmware to a later version; contact Technical Support.

• The drive stores the alarm value in r2124; the manual specifies that it is interpreted as a decimal number.
• 0: The existing license is not sufficient.
• 1: An adequate license was not able to be determined as the memory card with the required licensing data was withdrawn in operation.
• 2: An adequate license was not able to be determined as there is no licensing data available on the memory card.
• 3: An adequate license was not able to be determined as there is a checksum error in the license key.
• 4: An internal error occurred when checking the license.

• r2124 — alarm value: read it as a decimal number to determine which licensing situation the drive has detected.
• p9920 — enter license key: use it to enter the license key when additional licenses are required, when no licensing data is on the memory card, or when a checksum error requires the key to be re-entered.
• p9921 — activate license key: use it to activate the license key entered in p9920.

This alarm requires no acknowledgement. Carry out the remedy that matches the alarm value in r2124; for alarm value 4 the remedy itself consists of carrying out a POWER ON, upgrading the firmware to a later version and contacting Technical Support.
