A07557 — Encoder 1: Reference point coordinate not in the permissible range

A07557 is raised when, while the encoder is being adjusted, the reference point coordinate that arrives through connector input CI:p2599 lies outside half of the encoder range. A value of this size cannot be adopted as the actual axis position. The largest value still permitted is shown in the supplementary information of the message. Depending on the drive's configuration, the same condition can also be issued as a fault, F07557.

• The reference point coordinate received via connector input CI:p2599 during encoder adjustment lies outside half of the encoder range and therefore cannot be set as the actual axis position. The maximum permissible value is displayed in the supplementary information.

1. Read the maximum permissible value from the supplementary information of the message.
2. Set the reference point coordinate to a value less than that maximum — this is the value that arrives through connector input CI:p2599 (the EPOS reference point coordinate value, p2599).
3. If the coordinate is fed from another signal, check the signal source selected in p2598, which supplies the reference point coordinate.

• p2599 — CO: EPOS reference point coordinate value; the parameter that carries the reference point coordinate being checked and that must be set below the maximum shown in the supplementary information.
• p2598 — CI: EPOS reference point coordinate signal source; selects the signal source that supplies the reference point coordinate, and the place the manual points to when the coordinate has to be changed.

As an alarm, A07557 needs no acknowledgement and the drive takes no automatic action. If the drive is configured to issue the same condition as a fault, F07557, the manual states: Reaction upon F: OFF1 (OFF2, OFF3) Acknowl. upon F: IMMEDIATELY — the fault must then be acknowledged IMMEDIATELY before the drive can be restarted.
