A05054 — Parallel circuit: Power unit deactivated

A05054 (Parallel circuit: Power unit deactivated) is raised when, for the affected drive object, fewer power units connected in parallel are active than exist in the target topology. The drive does not trip: operation continues, but only at reduced power (power derating). Depending on the drive configuration, the same condition can also be output with no reaction (N).

• For the drive object involved, fewer power units connected in parallel are active than exist in the target topology.
• Operation is therefore only possible at reduced power (power derating).

1. Establish which power units of the parallel circuit are deactivated for the affected drive object — the alarm means that at least one power unit contained in the target topology is not active.
2. Re-activate the deactivated power units if required; the manual points to p0125 (Activate/deactivate power unit components) for this.
3. If the power units are activated and deactivated via a signal, work with p0895 (BI: Activate/deactivate power unit components).
4. p0897 (BI: Parking axis selection) is also referenced by the manual for this message; take it into account when re-activating the power units.

• p0125 (Activate/deactivate power unit components): use it to re-activate a power unit that has been deactivated for the affected drive object.
• p0895 (BI: Activate/deactivate power unit components): the same activate/deactivate function as p0125, set as a BI signal — relevant when the deactivation is signal-controlled.
• p0897 (BI: Parking axis selection): parking axis selection, which the remedy for this alarm references together with p0125 and p0895.

This alarm requires no acknowledgement and does not stop the drive. It is resolved by re-activating the deactivated power units (p0125, p0895, p0897) so that the number of active power units again matches the target topology.
