A02005 — Function generator: Drive does not exist

A02005 comes from the function generator (FG). The function generator is tied to another drive object of the converter by number: the function generator drive number in p4815 specifies which drive object it connects to and works with. The drive raises this alarm when that drive object does not exist, i.e. no drive object with the number entered for the connection is present in the converter. It is a parameterization/configuration message, so the cure lies in the setup, not in replacing hardware.

• The drive object that the function generator is set to connect to does not exist — the drive object number stored for this connection (p4815, function generator drive number) does not match any drive object actually present.

1. Read out p4815 (function generator drive number) to see which drive object number the function generator uses for its connection.
2. Compare this number with the drive objects that actually exist in the converter configuration.
3. Enter the number of an existing drive object in p4815, so that the function generator connects to a drive object that is present.
4. Restart the function generator once the number has been corrected.

• p4815 (function generator drive number / FG drive number) — holds the number of the drive object the function generator connects to; correct it here so that it points to a drive object that actually exists.

The alarm resets itself once its cause has been removed: correct p4815 so that it refers to an existing drive object, then restart the function generator. No acknowledgement of its own is needed for this alarm — removing the cause and restarting the function generator is enough.
