What it means

The VSD manual describes the measurement behind the message: the motor/inverter IGBT module temperatures are continuously monitored by the gate driver board, which reads the highest temperature for each phase and sends it to the VSD logic board. The logic board compares that temperature against a threshold value, and this shutdown occurs if any IGBT module on the motor/inverter exceeds it.

The manual then states: When the condition clears, the chiller can be started after the CLEAR FAULTS button is pressed.
