In the control center's event list the same message appears in capitals, WARNING - 3 YEAR SERVICE REQUIRED - CONTACT JCI; the manuals give no other wording for it. The event data identify it as a manual reset warning with GPIC warning code 147 and event code 332. Its shutdown type is none, it is allowed in all states, and it trips instantaneously with no bypass time, so the message appears without stopping the unit.

This is the control center's reminder that the 3 year service interval has run out. The warning is set when the days since the last 3 year service is equal to or greater than 1,095 days. Because it is enabled always, present in all allowed states, and has no shutdown type, it does not stop the machine — it only calls for the service the message names: contact JCI. The warning stays set until it is cleared by a manual reset; the release event is release after set.

• Days since last 3 year service is equal to or greater than 1,095 days — the 3 Year Service timer in the control center has reached the end of the 3 year service interval and no reset has been entered.

1. Open the event details in the control center and confirm the event code 332 and warning code 147 for this message.
2. Read the Days Since Last 3 Year Service value and check it against the set point of 1,095 days.
3. Carry out or arrange the 3 year service the message calls for; the message itself instructs you to contact JCI.
4. Clear the warning with the manual reset described below, then check that the message is gone and that Days Since Last 3 Year Service shows 0.

• Set event: the warning is set when Days Since Last 3 Year Service is equal to or greater than 1,095 days.
• Reset password: 0726.
• Event type: manual reset warning; shutdown type: none; allowed states: all.
• Enable: always; clear/disable: the 3 Year Service Warning is disabled.
• Bypass time: none; trip time: instantaneous; release event: release after set.
• When the warning is cleared, Days Since Last 3 Year Service is set to 0.

This warning clears only by manual reset — the manuals describe no automatic reset. The warning can be reset when the Maintenance Acknowledge key is pressed, 3 Year Service is selected, and the code 0726 is entered. Entering the reset also puts the 3 Year Service timer back to 0. The control center records the manual reset in the Security Log with the message 3 Year Service Required Warning Reset, and Days Since Last 3 Year Service is set to 0 when the warning is cleared.
