F37005 — HF Damping Module: I2t overload

F37005 reports that the filter capacitor of the HF Damping Module was overloaded in thermal terms. The drive tracks the capacitor load with an I2t model, and the fault is raised when the utilization value in r5173 reaches 100 %. The same load figure is stored as the fault value in r0949, to be read as a decimal number, where 100 % corresponds to 16384. As underlying reasons the manual names an excessively excited filter resonance frequency and a defective HF Choke Module; the checks below follow from them.

• The filter capacitor of the HF Damping Module was overloaded — its I2t utilization in r5173 has climbed to 100 %.
• The filter resonance frequency was excessively excited.
• The HF Choke Module (reactor module) is defective.

1. Reduce the motor power when operating in the proximity of the fault-generating frequency.
2. Do not let the system remain in a steady-state condition near the fault-generating frequency.
3. Check the HF Choke Module and replace it if required.

• r0949 holds the I2t load and is to be interpreted as a decimal number.
• Scaling: 100 % = 16384.

• r5173 (CO: HF Damping Module I2t overload / HF DM overl I2t) — the live I2t utilization of the module; it reaches 100 % exactly when F37005 trips, so it is the value to observe near the fault-generating frequency.
• r0949 (fault value) — the value stored with F37005; read it as a decimal number, where 16384 stands for 100 % I2t.

When F37005 trips, the drive coasts down and must be acknowledged before it will start again. Because the code reports a thermal overload, the checks above come first; r5173 shows at any time how heavily the filter capacitor is currently loaded.
