F36899 — Hub: Unknown fault

F36899 is raised when the DRIVE-CLiQ Hub Module reports a fault that the firmware of the Control Unit cannot interpret — the Control Unit simply does not know this fault number. The manual names the typical trigger: the firmware on the hub component is more recent than the firmware on the Control Unit, so the new fault message from the hub has no meaning in the older Control Unit firmware. The unknown fault number itself is stored in r0949 and is to be read as a decimal value. Depending on how the drive is configured, the same condition can also be signalled as an alarm (A) or as a message without reaction (N) instead of a fault. The fault is acknowledged immediately and requires a power cycle (POWER ON): once the firmware situation is corrected — either the DRIVE-CLiQ Hub Module is running older firmware or the Control Unit firmware has been upgraded — switch the drive's power supply off and on again and then restart. The manuals assign no automatic stopping response to this code, so nothing needs to be re-enabled beyond the acknowledgement itself. When the drive signals the condition only as an alarm (A) or as a plain message (N), no acknowledgement step applies.
