F35885 — TM DRIVE-CLiQ (CU): Cyclic data transfer error

F35885 reports that the cyclic data transfer over DRIVE-CLiQ between the Terminal Module (TM) involved and the Control Unit (CU) has failed: the two nodes no longer send and receive in synchronism. Both list manuals (S120/S150 and G130/G150) describe the fault identically for the Terminal Module component. The message value identifies which module is affected and which of the five receive or send problems occurred, and because the drive executes OFF1 it must be acknowledged before it will restart.

• A DRIVE-CLiQ communication error has occurred from the Terminal Module involved (TM) to the Control Unit — the nodes do not send and receive in synchronism.
• Which condition actually triggered the fault is stored as the fault cause in the message value: a sign-of-life bit that was not set in a receive telegram that arrived too early, a cyclic telegram that was not received, a timeout in the telegram receive list, a timeout in the telegram send list, or an error at the transition to cyclic operation.

1. Check the power supply voltage of the component involved; the component number in the fault value tells you which Terminal Module raised the fault.
2. Carry out a POWER ON (switch the supply off and back on).
3. If the fault occurs again, replace the component involved.
4. For G130 and G150 the remedy additionally refers to p9915 (DRIVE-CLiQ data transfer error shutdown threshold master).

The drive stores two items in the message value: the manual prints it as Component number: %1, fault cause: %2 and notes the coding in r0949/r2124:

• 0000yyxx hex: yy = component number, xx = error cause
• 26 (= 1A hex): Sign-of-life bit in the receive telegram not set and the receive telegram is too early.
• 33 (= 21 hex): The cyclic telegram has not been received.
• 34 (= 22 hex): Timeout in the telegram receive list.
• 64 (= 40 hex): Timeout in the telegram send list.
• 98 (= 62 hex): Error at the transition to cyclic operation.

• r0949 (fault value): read the coded message value for this fault here — component number and fault cause as 0000yyxx hex.
• r2124 (alarm value): named by the manual alongside r0949; the same coding of the message value applies.
• p9915 (DRIVE-CLiQ data transfer error shutdown threshold master / DQ fault master): the remedy for this fault points to this parameter.

The fault must be acknowledged immediately once the cause has been removed; the G130/G150 manual specifies immediate acknowledgement. Because the drive has executed OFF1, it will only restart after the acknowledgement. If F35885 comes back after the POWER ON, replace the Terminal Module involved.
