F07955 — Drive: Motor has been changed

The drive saves the code number of the motor with DRIVE-CLiQ and compares it against the motor that is actually connected. If the code number of the connected motor does not match the saved number, F07955 "Drive: Motor has been changed" is raised — normally because a different motor has been connected or the motor has been exchanged. In the S120/S150 description the comparison additionally covers the code numbers of the bearings, the gearbox and the brake. The fault value tells you which parameter is affected (see below).

• The code number of the actual motor with DRIVE-CLiQ does not match the saved number.
• Per the S120/S150 manual only: the code numbers of the bearings, the gearbox or the brake do not match the saved numbers.

1. Read the fault value: r0949, interpreted as a decimal number, gives the number of the incorrect parameter.
2. Identify the connected motor: r0302 shows the motor code number of the motor with DRIVE-CLiQ that the drive is reading — this is the number that does not match the saved one.
3. If the original motor is available: connect it, switch on the Control Unit again (POWER ON) and exit quick commissioning with p0010 = 0.
4. If the motor data have not changed: set p0300 = 10100 without recommissioning (this option is given in the S120/S150 manual).
5. Otherwise: set p0300 = 10000 — the parameters are loaded from the motor with DRIVE-CLiQ — and re-commission. Per the S120/S150 manual, the data for bearings, gearbox and brake are reloaded.
6. Note on completion: quick commissioning (p0010 = 1) is exited automatically with p3900 > 0. If quick commissioning was exited with p0010 = 0, an automatic controller calculation (p0340 = 1) is not carried out.

• The drive stores the number of the incorrect parameter in the fault value; read it in r0949 and interpret it as a decimal number.
• The message value shows this as "Parameter: %1", where %1 stands for the number of the incorrect parameter.

• r0949 — read the fault value here (interpret it as a decimal) to find the number of the incorrect parameter.
• p0300 — motor type selection: set it to 10100 to keep the existing motor data without recommissioning, or to 10000 to load the parameters from the connected motor with DRIVE-CLiQ.
• p0301 — motor code number selection: the parameter through which the motor code number is selected.
• r0302 — shows the motor code number of the connected motor with DRIVE-CLiQ, i.e. the number that is being compared.
• p0010 — drive commissioning parameter filter: set it to 0 to exit quick commissioning after reconnecting the original motor.
• p3900 — with p3900 > 0, quick commissioning (p0010 = 1) is exited automatically.
• p0340 — automatic parameter calculation: if quick commissioning was exited with p0010 = 0, the automatic controller calculation is not carried out.

Acknowledge the fault immediately after the cause has been removed — that is, after the original motor has been reconnected or the motor data have been reloaded as described above — and the drive can be restarted. Where the remedy requires it, switch the Control Unit on again (POWER ON) and exit quick commissioning with p0010 = 0, or let p3900 > 0 end quick commissioning automatically. Remember that if quick commissioning was exited with p0010 = 0, the automatic controller calculation (p0340 = 1) does not run.
