A02026Function generator: Pulse width too high

What it means

A02026 tells you that the pulse width configured for the function generator is too high. In the function generator the pulse width must always be smaller than the period duration, and the current setting violates this. The width is held in p4822, the period in p4821. The drive classifies the alarm as an error in the parameterization / configuration / commissioning procedure, and the G130/G150 and S120/S150 manuals describe it in the same words.

Why it appears

  • The pulse width selected for the function generator is set too high — the pulse width must be less than the period duration.

What to check

  1. Reduce the pulse width in p4822.
  2. Make sure the value in p4822 is now smaller than the period duration in p4821.
  3. Restart the function generator.

Parameters the manual names

  • p4822 (FG pulse width) — the value you reduce so that it stays below the period duration.
  • p4821 (FG period duration) — the period that the pulse width in p4822 must remain smaller than.

Acknowledging and restarting

The manual's reset is: remove the cause of this alarm and then restart the function generator. Once this is done the alarm is gone; no further action is described.
