תיאור
בתא חיצוני (תא מעקף), מצוף עם מגנט קבוע נע על גבי צינור מוביל ביחס לגובה מפלס הנוזל, בהתאם לעקרון כלי התקשורת. בתוך צינור המוביל מותקן מגע קנה (מגע בגז אינרטי), אשר מופעל באמצעות קירוֹת המצוף והצינור המוביל שאינם מגנטיים, עם התקרבות מגנט המצוף. באמצעות מגנט ומגע קנה פעולת ההחלפה היא ללא מגע, ללא בלאי ואינה דורשת אספקת חשמל. המגעים הם ללא פוטנציאל.

מה מייחד את דגם ELS לעומת מתגי מפלס אחרים?
הדגם מיועד להתקנה רוחבית בתא חיצוני, מה שמאפשר שימוש כאשר אין מקום להתקנה בתוך המכל או הכלי, והוא מתאים למפלסים סוערים של נוזלים. עקרון המגנט ומגע הקנה מבטיח החלפה ללא מגע, ללא בלאי וללא אספקת חשמל.
כיצד פועל מתג המפלס?
בתא החיצוני נע המצוף עם המגנט הקבוע על גבי צינור המוביל בהתאם לגובה מפלס הנוזל (עקרון כלי התקשורת). התקרבות המגנט מפעילה את מגע הקנה שבתוך הצינור דרך הקירוֹת הלא מגנטיים, והמגעים הם ללא פוטנציאל.
