F36837 — Hub DRIVE-CLiQ: Component fault

F36837 reports that a fault has been detected on a DRIVE-CLiQ component connected via the hub; the manual adds that faulty hardware cannot be excluded. The fault is flagged at the drive's Terminal Board (TB). 1. Check the DRIVE-CLiQ wiring — interrupted cable, contacts and the like.
2. Check the electrical cabinet design and the cable routing for EMC compliance.
3. If required, use another DRIVE-CLiQ socket (p9904).
4. Replace the component involved.

The drive codes the information as follows in the message value (r0949/r2124): 0000yyxx hex, where yy = component number and xx = error cause. The manual decodes the fault causes it lists for this code as:

• 32 (= 20 hex): error in the telegram header.
• 35 (= 23 hex): receive error — the telegram buffer memory contains an error.
• 66 (= 42 hex): send error — the telegram buffer memory contains an error.
• 67 (= 43 hex): send error — the telegram buffer memory contains an error.

• r0949 (fault value): read the coded message value of this fault here — as 0000yyxx hex it gives the component number (yy) and the fault cause (xx).
• r2124 (alarm value): named by the manual alongside r0949 as the place where the message value is coded.
• p9904 (topology comparison acknowledge differences): the remedy points to this parameter when another DRIVE-CLiQ socket is to be used.

Remedy the cause first, then acknowledge the fault. Acknowledgement can be carried out immediately, with no further condition, and the drive takes no automatic action when the fault is raised — so nothing has to be restarted before the message can be cleared.
