What it means

F30070 means that a cycle has been requested which the connected power unit does not support. The power unit only supports the cycles 62.5 µs, 125 µs, 250 µs and 500 µs. Which cycle or timing problem the drive has detected is stored as a fault value in r0949 (interpret hexadecimal): 0 stands for a rejected current control cycle, 1 for a rejected DRIVE-CLiQ cycle, and 2 or 3 for an internal timing problem. The manual describes this fault identically for SINAMICS G130, G150, S120 and S150.

Why it appears

  • The drive requests a cycle that is not supported by the power unit. Only the cycles 62.5 µs, 125 µs, 250 µs and 500 µs are supported, so the requested cycle lies outside this set.
  • Depending on the fault value, either the current control cycle or the DRIVE-CLiQ cycle is not supported, or an internal timing problem exists (see the fault value list below).

What to check
