What it means
A06810 is the infeed's message that, while the drive is in operation, the DC link voltage has dropped below the alarm threshold. The manuals print it as Infeed: DC link voltage alarm threshold fallen below
and, for the other families, Infeed: DC link voltage alarm threshold
. The threshold is not a fixed number: the drive obtains it as the sum of p0279 (DC link voltage offset alarm threshold) and r0296 (DC link voltage undervoltage threshold). While the threshold is undershot, the drive also sets status bit r3405.7. Depending on how the drive is configured, the same condition can also be output as a fault rather than as an alarm.
Why it appears
- A line supply voltage dip or another fault on the line supply.
- The infeed is overloaded.
- On an Active Line Module, the controller is parameterized incorrectly.

- Check the line voltage and the line supply quality.
- Reduce the power drawn and avoid step-like load changes.
- On an Active Line Module, adapt the controller parameterization — for example by running the automatic line supply identification with p3410 = 4 or 5.
Parameters the manual names
- p0279 — DC link voltage offset alarm threshold: together with r0296 it forms the alarm threshold that the DC link voltage must stay above.
- r0296 — DC link voltage undervoltage threshold: read it together with p0279 to obtain the actual alarm threshold.
- p3410 — Infeed identification method: set it to 4 or 5 for the automatic line supply identification when adapting the Active Line Module controller parameterization.
Acknowledging and restarting
As an alarm, A06810 needs no acknowledgment and the drive takes no automatic action; the message ends once the DC link voltage is back above the alarm threshold. If the drive is configured to output the same condition as a fault instead, the manual specifies Reaction upon F: NONE (OFF1, OFF2)
and Acknowl. upon F: IMMEDIATELY (POWER ON)
— in practice the drive does not shut itself down, and the fault is acknowledged immediately or by POWER ON. Clear the line or load cause first, working through the checks above, so the message does not return.
