מדדי הפרש הלחצים אלה עשויים מפלדת אל-חלד בעלת עמידות גבוהה במיוחד בפני קורוזיה. בטיחות גבוהה מפני עומס יתר מושגת באמצעות מבנה כולו-מתכתי ותכנון צמוד של אלמנט המדידה הדיאפרגמתי.
השימוש בחומרי פלדת אל-חלד איכותיים ובתכנון קשיח מכוון ליישומים בתעשיות ההנדסה הכימית וההנדסה התהליכית. בהתאם לכך, המכשיר מתאים למדיות נוזליות וגזיות, גם בסביבות אגרסיביות.
