Description

With 2-valve manifolds, the block-and-bleed version is standard. The shut-off valve separates the process from measuring instruments such as pressure gauges, switches or transmitters. By closing this valve the instrument can be safely dismounted for services like calibration or replacement. The vent valve allows the safe venting of the instrument, prior to the dismounting or for zero point check.

The non-rotating spindle tip reduces wear of the sealing elements. This results, particularly with frequent opening and closing, in a noticeable increase in the service life.

Through the blow-out proof design of the valve, working safety is improved, especially in applications with high pressure loading.

On request, WIKA offers the professional assembly of valves and pressure measuring instruments and also other accessories into a ready-to-install instrument hook-up. To ensure the performance of the complete system, an additional leak test is carried out on the instrument hook-up.

Special features

  • Low-wear design due to non-rotating spindle tip in the bonnet
  • Low torque and smooth operation of valve handle even at high pressure
  • Enhanced safety due to blow-out proof bonnet design
  • Valve seat tested for leak tightness per ISO 5208 leak rate A
  • Customer-specific combination of valves and instruments (instrument hook-up) on request

Depending on the application, mounted instrument, bracket or the available space, we offer a variety of bonnet positions, to ensure the best possible operation and handling of the valve. Please find below the most chosen options: - Angled, differential pressure gauge: This is only suitable for the standard pattern, C-2-C 37 mm with the compact flat body. - Radiales Differenzdruckmessgerät: Dieses ist nur für das Standardmodell, C-2-C 54 mm Flachkörper, geeignet. - Angled, remote mounting: This is only suitable for the standard pattern, C-2-C 54 mm with the compact flat body. - Side-by-side panel mounting: The side-by-side bonnet can only be chosen in combination with the flat design. Both bonnets are located in one side of the valve and are slightly offset in position to allow for a more compact design, while still ensuring optimal operation of the valve. - Angled, direct mounting: For this version, the valves are just slightly angled and allow to accommodate the measuring instrument better. - Angled, direct mounting + bonnet 45°: The angled, direct mounting option can only be chosen in combination with the flat design. The bonnets are offset by 45° to one another to avoid interference with the instrument. - Angled, direct mounting + inlet holes spacing 110 mm: For this version, the valves are just slightly angled and allow to accommodate the measuring instrument better. Additionally, the inlet holes are spaced further apart. For this reason, it is one of the preferred options for flanged connections. - Radial, direct mounting: This model is preferred for the use in combination with larger differential pressure measuring instruments. - Radial, direct mounting + equalise 45°: Similar to the normal radial, direct mounting. Additionally, the centre bonnet is canted 45°. - H-shaped, direct mounting: This option allows for flanged connections on both sides of the valve. It is also advisable if there is an IEC connection. - T-shaped, direct mounting: This option allows for flanged a connection on one side and a threaded connection on the other. It is also advisable if there is an IEC connection. - Bottom entry, direct mounting: The bottom entry version does not require the use of an additional fitting and therefore allows to save money, space, weight and reduces the risk of possible leaking points. - Enclosure manifold, direct mounting: This version, just like the bottom entry version, does not require the use of an additional fitting and therefore allows to save money, space, weight and reduces the risk of possible leaking points. However, it does have a different body shape. - Radial, integral mounting: What sets this version apart from the others is, that it features the vent outlet in the centre of the valve.
