Drum meter for industrial liquids
The drum meter is used for measuring
- Benzene in gas works and iron and steel works
- Solvents and other liquids during operational and production checks
- Condensation in district heating works
The drum meter can also be used for measuring components used for mixing in the chemical industry and the synthetic fibers industry.
Дизайн
The two-part housing is made of cast iron and pressure-tight up to max. 0.4 bar. On the bottom part are inlet and outlet connections. The pipe connections are designed as oval flanges with female thread. The housing also available with lining and lid.
The drum is made of welded chromium-nickel steel sheet.
Values are indicated (in liters) by a single-pointer dial with a non-resettable 5-digit drum type counter. Individual quantities are determined from the difference between the two values on the non-resettable drum-type counter or on the resettable pulse counter in the case of a remote display.

| The meter is not subject to the pressure equipment directive (DGRL 97/23/EC). |
The values quoted here for qmax apply only for liquids with a density ρ ≥ 1 and a dynamic viscosity ŋ ≤ 2 mPa · s. With ρ < 1, a max. flow rate of ρ · qmax is permitted.
