The display range of a thermometer defines the scale start value and scale end value of the scale printed on the dial of the thermometer. The measuring range must be at least 2/3 of the scale range. The start and end of the measuring range must be marked by triangles on the edge of the scale. The marking is omitted if the measuring range is equal to the scale range. The scale angle is 270° ± 20°. There are predefined standard scale ranges for thermometers in accordance with European and American standards. For special display areas, please contact WIKA support.
