Широкий модельный ряд центральных процессоров позволяет макимально адаптировать S7-300 к требованиям решаемой задачи как по функциональным возможностям, так и по стоимостным показателям. Новые центральные процессоры SIMATIC S7-300 имеют увеличенную производительность, меньшие габариты, улучшенные эксплуатационные характеристики, что существенно повышает соотношение производительность/ цена.

Все центральные процессоры выпускаются в пластиковых корпусах, на фронтальной панели которых расположены:

Встроенные интерфейсы, состав которых зависит от типа центрального процессора.
В центральных процессорах S7-300 Compact, CPU 315T-2 DP и CPU 317T-2 DP:
один или два отсека для установки фронтальных соединителей, через которые производится подключение внешних цепей ввода-вывода дискретных и аналоговых сигналов;
светодиоды индикации состояний входных и выходных дискретных сигналов;
защитные пластиковые крышки с пазом для установки этикетки с маркировкой внешних цепей.
Функции
Программирование
Программирование центральных процессоров S7-300 выполняется на зыках LAD, FBD или STL из среды STEP 7, STEP 7 Professional или STEP 7 Lite (не поддерживает сетевые конфигурации).
Кроме того, для программирования S7-300 могут использоваться инструментальные средства проектирования S7-GRAPH, S7-HiGraph, S7-SCL, CFC или SFC. Они могут применяться для программирования контроллеров S7-300 с CPU 314 или более мощными центральными процессорами.
В центральных процессорах с операционной системой от V2.6 и выше обеспечивается возможность обновления операционной системы через сеть.
