The Ready Access Portal software provides a natural, complementary
extension of the Metasys® Site Management Portal UI. The Ready Figure 1: Ready Access Portal UI in a Mobile Device (Left) and
Access Portal UI provides an intuitive, task-based interface that can be Computer Window (Right)
tailored to meet the needs of building tenants and other specialized
users. Available on a computer or mobile platform, the Ready Access
Portal UI requires only a web browser.

Consider the following when choosing a computer for the Ready Access Portal software:
• The number of users who can browse to the Ready Access Portal UI at the same time depends on the computer
platform and the type of Site Director that you have.
• As a general rule, the computer running Ready Access Portal software should have the same or better processor
speed and memory as the Site Director.
• Ready Access Portal software can be installed on a stand-alone computer or a computer running ADS/ADX (Site
Director only), SCT, or other Metasys system software. Ready Access Portal software is not supported on an
NxE85.
Note: At Metasys Release 8.1, the Ready Access Portal UI is not supported on the Open Data Server (ODS).

annotation requirements. If you install Ready Access Portal software on an MVE site, use the appropriate operating procedures and user/role permissions to
ensure that Ready Access Portal users have view-only access to the system.

Note: In Internet Explorer 11, select the Use Microsoft compatibility lists option found under Tools >
Compatibility View Settings to ensure that websites appear and function correctly.

Note: Apple operating systems are supported for Metasys client computers only.
Other browsers, such as Google® Chrome™ and Mozilla® Firefox®, may also be used but are not fully supported.
Additionally, Microsoft Silverlight® version 5.0 or later must be installed on each client computer if graphics are
used on the site.
Mobile Device:
• The mobile device must be running Internet Explorer Mobile for Windows Mobile version 5 or version 6,
or (on Apple® iPhone® or iPod touch®) iOS 3.0 or later. Other web browsers may display the UI, but
functionality is not guaranteed.
• We recommend a screen size of at least 240 pixels wide by 320 pixels high. The minimal width of 240
pixels is optimal for horizontal scrolling.
