The OptiView™ control center shows LCSSS INITIALIZATION FAILED. The manuals file it under the cycling shutdown messages, so it announces a shutdown rather than a plain alert. Elsewhere in the YK documentation the same words are printed as LCSSS Initialization Failed (solid state starter cycling shutdown list) and LCSSS initialization failed (display-message list).
What it means
This is a power-up communication failure. After power is applied to the OptiView™ control center, the Micro Board tries to obtain a response from the Logic/Trigger Board. When no response arrives after ten communication attempts — approximately 20 seconds after power was applied — the Micro Board records this shutdown. It does not stop there: the manual notes that the Micro Board continues trying to communicate even after recording the shutdown.
The manual treats this as a problem of initial power-up of the LCSSS only: if communication between the LCSSS and the OptiView™ panel had been established and then is broken, the manual operation of the closed loop coolant pump would function.
