F52966 — Mpc motor quantity not matched

F52966 belongs to multi-pump control: the drive raises it when the motor quantity configured in p29521 does not match the digital output settings. While the fault is active the drive coasts down, and it accepts a new start only after the fault has been acknowledged.

• The motor quantity set in p29521 and the digital output settings do not match.
• The fault also occurs when p29521 is set greater than four while the CU is operated without an I/O extended module.

1. Establish whether the CU operates with or without an I/O extended module; the remedy differs between the two cases.
2. Without an I/O extended module: change p29521 or the digital output settings p0730, p0731, p0732, p0733 so that the motor quantity set in p29521 matches the quantity of digital outputs mapped in r29529.
3. With an I/O extended module added: change p29521 or the digital output settings p0730, p0731, p0732, p0733, p0734, p0735 so that the motor quantity set in p29521 matches the quantity of digital outputs mapped in r29529.
4. Note that a motor quantity greater than four in p29521 requires an I/O extended module; with the CU alone the fault occurs.

• p29521 — Multi-pump control motor configuration: the motor quantity that multi-pump control works with; align this value with the digital outputs mapped in r29529 when F52966 appears.
• p0730, p0731, p0732, p0733 — digital output settings used without an I/O extended module: change these, or p29521, until the output quantity in r29529 equals the motor quantity.
• p0734, p0735 — the digital outputs that come in addition once an I/O extended module is added; include them in the matching when the module is fitted.

Once p29521 and the digital output settings agree again, acknowledge the fault immediately; the drive coasts down when this fault trips and restarts only after a successful acknowledgement.
