Про документ
SIMOTICS L-1FN6 are three-phase linear motors designed to operate with the SINAMICS S120 drive system. They are available in natural-cooled and water-cooled versions across several frame sizes (1FN6003/1FN6007 compact sizes and 1FN6008/1FN6016/1FN6024 larger sizes), with continuous thermal feedrate forces from roughly 49 N up to 5140 N and maximum forces up to 8080 N. Primary sections are ordered separately from secondary sections (200 mm or 500 mm length), and each motor type lists a matching SINAMICS S120 Motor Module and shielded pre-assembled power cable.

- Connection options: permanently connected power and signal cables pre-assembled with connectors (type F, length 0.5 m) for 1FN6003; two separate integrated sockets for power and signal cable (type K) for 1FN6007 to 1FN6024
- Secondary sections available in 200 mm (7.87 in) and 500 mm (19.69 in) lengths
- Pre-assembled signal cables (order No. 6FX7002-2SL10-....) via MOTION-CONNECT connection systems

Double Motor Module 2
1) The continuous thermal feedrate force F
rated,th, that the linear motor can achieve, depends on the installation position and ambient conditions and the cooling
efficiency that is achieved. Large cooling surfaces and/or high air flow speeds ensure that the linear motors achieve a higher continuous thermal current
Irated,th and therefore a higher feedrate force. The winding is protected against overloading by means of temperature monitoring circuits.
Selection of the Motor Modules and power cables is based on increased continuous current. If a lower continuous current is required in the application,
where necessary, a Motor Module with a lower rating and the appropriate power cable can be used.
2) The rated feedrate force F
rated and the corresponding rated current Irated specify values that are typically achieved. The values refer to a black aluminum
plate to which the motor is bolted. The radiation surface of the plate is three times the size of the area to which the primary section is bolted.
3) A reduction of up to 30 % must be expected in case of motor standstill, at very low velocities, or with very short traverse paths.
4) Velocity values refer to a DC link voltage of the drive system of 600 V DC.
5) The Motor Module is selected on the basis of the maximum current I
max. In some cases, to fully utilize the feedrate force Fmax the next largest Motor Module
must be used. If a Motor Module with a higher rating is used, you must check whether the specified power cable can be connected to it.
6) The current carrying capacity of the power cables complies with EN 60204-1 for installation type C, for continuous duty at an ambient air temperature of
40 °C (104 °F).
