TC-8900 is a family of analogue controllers for fan coil control in 2 pipe, 2 pipe with change-over, 2 pipe with electrical coil, or 4 pipe configurations. The family includes All-in-one Controller Units (TC-8900 series), Built-in Controller Units (TC-8930) and the ES-8930 Remote Setpoint Module. The controller integrates sensor, direct/reverse input, window input, PI control, up to two valve outputs, mode push button and setpoint readjustment potentiometer in one package.

Introduction
TC-8900 is a family of analogue controllers,
designed for the control of fan coils with 2 pipe, 2
pipe with change-over, 2 pipe with electrical coil, or
4 pipe configurations.
The family includes All-in-one Controller Units (TC-
8900), a Remote Set point Module (ES-8930) and
Built-in Controller Units (TC-8930).
The TC-8900 has been designed to be easy to
use, while integrating the most common room air
conditioning control functions. TC-8900 All-in-one Controller Unit

Wiring Diagram
The following drawings indicate the connection diagrams of the different stand alone models and Remote
Setpoint Module.
The contacts have the following functions:
Window contact ( ): Window closed = contact closed
Dir /Reverse contact ( ): Direct (summer) = contact closed
Reverse (winter) = contact open
A change-over thermostat can be connected to terminals 7 and 8. In that case the internal contact must
be fixed at winter (open).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Mounting 80
1. Remove the base of the module from the cover by 33
inserting a pointed tool (a special tool, Ordering
Code TM-9100-8900, is available from Johnson
Controls) into the small hole at the center top of the
cover .
2. While pressing down gently, prise the base away 80
from the cover.
3. As the two parts separate, remove the tool and
continue to pull the cover away from the base until
the cover is in free.
4. Mount the base on the wall to cover the electrical
output and secure with at least two screws.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Mounting
1. Remove the base of the module from the cover by
inserting a pointed tool (a special tool, Ordering
Code TM-9100-8900, is available from Johnson
Controls) into the small hole at the center top of the
cover 80

2. While pressing down gently, prise the base away
from the cover.
3. As the two parts separate, remove the tool and
continue to pull the cover away from the base until 80
the cover is in free.
4. Mount the base on the wall to cover the electrical
output and secure with at least two screws.
